What We Do
PFK Shield & Shelter helps children, families, and adults in Southeast Arkansas break generational cycles of poverty by providing protection, opportunity, and space to grow. Rooted in the belief that where you come from does not define where you can go, PFK invests in both youth and adults through education, workforce advancement, health education, and Pathway Scholarships so entire families can move forward together. Grounded in compassion, community, and the legacy of the five grandmothers who raised us on Pine, Front, and King streets in Eudora, our work is deeply connected to place, purpose, and people.
